Weyman W. McCranie, Jr.
WEYMAN
W. McCRANIE, JR. is a 1986 magna cum laude graduate of the University
of Mississippi School of Law where he was a research editor of the
Mississippi Law Journal. Bill is also a 1979 graduate of the University of
South Alabama and a graduate of the United States Army War College. Bill was
selected for membership in Phi Kappa Phi upon graduation and is admitted to
practice law in Alabama, Florida and Mississippi, the United States Court of
Appeals for the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits and the United States Supreme
Court. He is a member of the Alabama, Florida and Mississippi State Bar
Associations, the Mobile Bar Association, the Escambia County Bar
Association, the Defense Research Institute and the Alabama Defense Lawyers
Association. Bill has an active litigation practice in the federal and state
courts in Alabama, Florida and Mississippi and is active in all areas of
litigation, with emphasis on the fields of casualty, products liability,
professional liability (medical, legal, architects and engineers, and
accountants), workmen's compensation, employment practices, and property,
with a primary focus there on construction defect matters. Email:

Bill
is a retired Colonel who was a member of the United States Army Reserve and
who was assigned to various positions during his Army reserve career,
including serving as a Brigade Commander. He was also mobilized and deployed
to Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom and received the Bronze Star for his
service there. He and his wife, Traci, an elementary school teacher, have
three children and live in Mobile, Alabama. His hobbies include spending
time with his family, travel, reading, sports, and hunting.
